How Can You Join?
You don't have to join straight away. Come to a couple of
meetings first so you don't feel pressured to jump in blind! Believe me, you won't regret it. Then, when you're comfortable
and feel you want to be a toastmaster, we'll get you to complete an application form. Joining fees are $50 (educational
manuals incl) and membership costs $80 (six monthly). Part of your fee goes to Toastmasters International (whom
we affiliate to), and the rest stays with the club to fund events, pay for the use of our premises and to invest in our members
training and development.

Who Can Join?
You may be a newbie or may have been a member of another
club. We welcome anyone who is willing to come along and 'give it a go.' Not only will you learn how to become a confident
speaker, roles are assigned weekly to hone those leadership skills. We encourage members to dedicate enough time
to participate and make a difference not only in their own lives but to our club and wider organisation.

Benefits of Joining
There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization.
Not only will you learn the different aspects of public speaking, you'll also be privileged to listen to some very proficient
speakers talk on a range of different genre - from the hilarious to the emotionally poignant. Our members are close friends
and we have a great time when we get together. Sharing common interests makes it a lot easier to move forward together,
and we hope to expand our reach to encourage other like minded individuals to join us.
