"Came
a Hot Friday"
Well, for our Christmas get together,
we all decided to enjoy a meal and a classic kiwi movie at the local picture theatre in Kerikeri. Justin Topzand, being the
resident expert on all things movie-ish...cinema-ish, film-ish....... volunteered to wow us with his mysterious selection
on the night, and boy! we sure weren't disappointed!! I can't remember when I last watched this movie, but what a nostalgic
cheeseball take on what can only be described as Maori mythology meets kiwiana slapstick comedy - Billy T James at his
finest.
